SiC Lined Straight Pipe

Our SiC Lined Straight Pipe is designed with simple style in mind. It uses high quality silicon carbide for the inner linings, while the outside is coated with a high quality steel pipe. This way not only can you enjoy its excellent wear resistance for the pipe, but also the resistance improves greatly for the whole product. The inner linings of silicon carbide are tightly combined with steel pipe respectively. The medium will not leak between the inner linings and steel pipe. The silicon carbide inner linings have uniform layer thickness, which ensures the excellent wear resistance in different working situations.

Application Fields

Metallurgical Industry

Our sic lined wear pipe is extensively applied in metallurgical industry. In the lower furnace shaft and furnace waist of the inside blast furnace, Our sic lined wear pipe is used as the inner lining. High temperature, friction of furnace material, scouring of coal gas and erosion of molten slag make the above parts experience extremely bad working condition. The SiC Lined Straight Pipe Resistant to Erosion with high wear resistance, high-temperature resistance and good chemical stability can resist above erosion and prolong service life of equipment.

1. In the converter steelmaking, Our sic lined wear pipe as well as oxygen and molten steel can be used for transporting media. Our sic lined wear pipe has corrosion resistance and high-temperature resistance and can work normally in high-temperature strong oxidizing medium.

2. Silicon carbide can also be used as deoxidizer in converter steelmaking. Compared with conventional deoxidizers, silicon carbide has the advantages of better deoxidation effect, low price and plentiful resources.

Chemical Industry

Many production processes in the chemical industry need to transport strong corrosive media, such as strong acids and strong alkalis, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide. Our sic lined wear pipe remains unchanged in these highly corrosive media, preventing the corrosion of pipes and the leakage of media and ensuring production safety.
