Recently, our production workshop completed the manufacture of a batch of custom-made Bimetal Wear Composite Tubes. The entire shipment has been loaded onto trucks and is about to be shipped to a mining project site in Russia, where it will be used for the installation of pipelines to transport slurry and raw coal particles at the local mine.

These Bimetal Wear Composite Tubes exported to Russia all use low-carbon steel pipes as the base material. The inner walls are coated with a chromium carbide wear-resistant alloy layer using our in-house CNC fully automatic overlay welding equipment. The wear-resistant layer bonds tightly to the base pipe, significantly reducing the likelihood of delamination. The surface hardness of the pipes is consistently maintained within the HRC 58–65 range, making them suitable for the complex operating conditions in Russian mining areas, which involve low temperatures, erosion from large-particle materials, and frequent impacts.

The Russian buyer has long been deeply involved in the local mining industry. Prior to this, they conducted an on-site inspection of Qishuai Wear-Resistant’s factory and sample products at the Novokuznetsk Mining Exhibition. After comparing usage cases of multiple similar pipe products, they finalized this purchase order. The Russian representative noted that most open-pit mines and underground conveyor pipelines in Russia are subject to year-round abrasion from sand and gravel, leading to frequent replacement of standard seamless steel pipes. The use of Bimetal Wear Composite Tubes can reduce maintenance and replacement costs for these pipelines, and the Russian client intends to continue this procurement partnership for future mine expansion and renovation projects.

Leveraging years of experience in the custom production of wear-resistant pipe fittings, Qishuai Wear-Resistant Products not only supplies Russian mines in bulk but also ships to metallurgical plants, power plants, and cement projects across Central Asia. The company can customize a full range of hard-faced wear-resistant pipe fittings—including straight pipes, wear-resistant elbows, and tees—based on customer drawings. It supports on-demand adjustments for different diameters and wear-resistant layer thicknesses to meet pipeline requirements in various scenarios, such as tailings conveyance, pulverized coal conveyance, and sand-and-gravel slurry conveyance.

Currently, land freight routes between China and Russia are operating smoothly, and the company’s lead times for export orders are manageable. We are able to accept both small-batch sample orders and large-scale engineering orders from mining clients in Russian-speaking regions such as Russia and Kazakhstan. Overseas buyers with procurement needs for wear-resistant piping are welcome to inquire at any time regarding product specifications, pricing, and delivery schedules.
